Baroque Vocal Programme – The Compleat Singer
Participation in ‘The Compleat Singer’ offers a unique opportunity to explore & experiment in all aspects of the Baroque singer’s development. This intensive course is designed for advanced-level participants such as professional singers, university, conservatory and college students (advanced amateurs may be accepted if space permits).
Medieval Programme with Sequentia Ensemble
A two-week intensive course dedicated to exploring the musical world of the so-called ‘courts of love’ in 12th-century Aquitaine and later in the Champagne.
Lute Workshop West (of the Lute Society of America)
Sessions will include: Mechanics of Renaissance Lute Playing, Counterpoint on the Lute, The Lute in the Time of Caravaggio, Expressive Playing, J.S. Bach and the Lute, Tuning and Temperaments on the Lute, Lute Masterclasses, Lute Building, Lute Care and Maintenance, and Lute Orchestra.
Baroque Dance Workshop
Historical Dance Workshops for Beginners- No experience required. This Workshop offers an introduction to historical dance technique and repertoire. Its main purpose is to offer participants experience in several different dance forms.
Harpsichord Maintenance Workshop
This is a hands-on workshop for harpsichord players and owners, focusing on practical matters, like cutting quills, and rules on regulation, maintenance, climate control, etc.
