A collaboration with Green College UBC
Artistic Director Matthew White explains the basis for EMV’s year-long collaboration with the Early Modern Conversions Project planned for the 2017-18 season and how it relates to Claudio Monteverdi, Buxtehude, Martin Luther and other important historical figures. EMV’s involvement will be closely connected to Green College at UBC as well as to a much larger-scale international initiative organized by the McGill Institute for the Public Life of Arts and Ideas (IPLAI) and funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council and the Canadian Foundation for Innovation.
