EMV’s Instrument Acquisition & Maintenance Fund
EMV maintains an ever-growing collection of high quality period instruments that would not otherwise be available in the Vancouver area. The acquisition, maintenance, and storage of these instruments can be quite costly, and these costs are only nominally offset by the income we receive from instrument rentals to local musicians. Gifts toward the Instrument Acquisition & Maintenance Fund contribute both to the upkeep of our existing instrument collection, and to the acquisition of new instruments that expand Vancouver’s capacity for performing repertoire in an historical context.
