Digital Concert | Sucreries: Y se va la segunda!

Baroque and traditional music from the city of Sucre (Bolivia)

Artists: Ensemble Alkymia

In a manner reminiscent of religious festivities, “Sucreries, Y se va la segunda!” is a musical voyage to the time of the silver mines of Potosí, to discover the musical treasures of Sucre. A blend of mysticism and tradition, the program reflects the link between heritage and living traditions, a juxtaposition of elements that persist in the collective consciousness of Bolivians.

(Recorded in 2021 at the ‘Musée des Beaux Arts’ in Lyon)
