The workshop focuses on Renaissance and Baroque dance forms:
This Workshop is open to anyone wishing to try to dance; it could even be the first time that you attend a dance class. Participants should bring rehearsal clothing (which should be comfortable to dance in), and very flexible shoes (with or without heel, but flexible) or socks. Recorded music will be used; musicians interested in playing during the workshop are asked to contact our office in advance. Early enrolment is recommended, as registration will be limited. The Tuition Fee for this Introductory Dance Workshop is Cdn$85 (check today’s exchange rate here). A reduced combined fee of Cdn$140 (check today’s exchange rate here) applies to those who also participate in the morning Harpsichord Maintenance and Regulation Workshop with Ton Amir. Admission is free for participants in the Baroque Programmes. As enrolment will be limited, we recommend that participants register in advance, by contacting our office.
In addition to her teaching positions, Ms. Andrijeski maintains an active performance schedule. She has been invited to play with many diverse early music groups across the nation and regularly appears with the Atlanta Baroque Orchestra (Artistic Director), New York State Baroque (Concertmaster), Quicksilver (Co-Director with Robert Mealy), Apollo’s Fire, Les Délices, the Boston Early Music Festival Orchestra, and The King’s Noyse. For those who live in the USA and are considering attending our summer courses or festival: please note that USA immigration services require everyone to carry a valid passport in order to (re-)enter into the USA. If you do not have a passport, please make the necessary arrangements early.
