Wheelchair Access at our Venues

The following venues that we regularly use for our concerts are wheelchair accessible. You may want to contact us in advance so that we can inform you about the parking situation, suitable entrances, available seating areas and the like.

UBC School of Music:

This venue is wheelchair accessible - with available areas in the rear of the hall. The building is equipped with an elevator that can accommodate wheelchairs, and washrooms are also wheelchair accessible. Please contact our office in advance, as there are some issues with regard to parking and to the various entrance levels of the building.

Chan Centre for the Performing Arts at UBC:

A number of wheelchair areas is set aside in each of the price ranges. There are elevators that can accommodate wheelchairs at the Chan Centre, and washrooms are also wheelchair accessible. Elevators that can accommodate wheelchairs are also available on all levels in the Rose Garden Parkade.

Unity Church:

This venue is wheelchair accessible. A few parking spots in the parking lot of the church (at the north side, close to the main entrance on Oak Street, which is accessible via a ramp) are reserved for handicapped parking. Please contact our office in advance for details.

Kay Meek Centre - West Vancouver:

If you are being driven to the Theatre you should be taken to the Main Entrance on Mathers and we ask you to make yourself known to the Staff/Volunteers who will bring you down to the Main Lobby via the Elevator.

There is disabled parking available in the lot directly behind the Theatre but there are no staffed facilities to bring patrons in via the back doors unless prior notice is given. If this is the case please call the Theatre directly at least 2 hours prior to your arrival.
